Below are some links to avenues for funding for study, research and artistic practice

Study

Useful websites for MA and PhD funding:

- UKRI funding for PhD study (this is one of the most common routes to PhD funding, and is done through institutions and consortiums, e.g. the North West Consortium Doctoral Training Programme (NWCDTP).

- Find A PhD funding guide

- UKRI page on tips for 'Funding for biomedical research and innovation'

- Many higher education institutions have their own scholarships for PhD study, and some for MA study. Do ask the institution that you are applying to about this.

Artistic practice

Funding for artistic projects:

- Yamaha Music Europe Foundation annual scholarships ('The YMEF scholarship is aimed at students who are preparing for a professional musical career at a recognized educational institution within Europe. You must be 25 years of age or younger at the time the annual grant is awarded (usually February/March)')
